Subject: Atari Lynx not working
Unfortunately the Atari Lynx roms are not working on real hardware with a flashcard.
Don't know what kind of format these roms are in and I know they are working in MiSter. But if you open a good Atari Lynx lnx rom dump in a text editor they first value you see should be "LYNX".

Thank you for these.
Subject: Awesome!
Subject: Nice pack.
Organized. complete library of official games. Maybe close to it.
Nice to use. Of working roms that work on a everdrive.
I use them on emulators also.
I only wonder if the complete list of romhacking.com translations and hacks are on there. I bet the popular ones are there. I don't want to be missing some odd one i missed. Maybe work on a complete and updated list of romhacking patched roms. if it's not already done. Also the odd hack and translation that are from another source.
Translations and hacks are fun. something different.
A downloader that puts them in order for the mister would be nice. Makes things easier.
Subject: Thanks
Please make all packs .zip. no cart or hardware supports .7z
Would be cool if they made a file downloader from this archive for the mister. That also sorts out the files in the right spots.
A collection of romhacking.net games already patched would be cool.
Subject: Awesome resource
I wanted to point out that there is a redundant zip file in the C64 gamepack
"@MiSTer Pack Add-on - C64 2020-04-15.zip" has "D64.zip" in the "D64" folder which contains all of the files that are already in the D64 folder. Shaves off about 500mb.
Subject: Thank you for updating this again! you are a rock star!
Subject: A+
Subject: Got it working
Can't find out how to delete the other review. and sorry about the 0 star rating. i had a question i wasnt trying to rate anything.. feel free to delete it if you can. Thanks for this incredible distro and everything that you do :) Keep up the good work!
Subject: Updates
https://github.com/frederic-mahe/Hardware-Target-Game-Database
To look at what's been updated, open the "EverDrive Pack SMDBs" folder on that page, open the appropriate file and then click on History in the top-right. Scroll to the date of the zip file (not the uploaded date) and everything up to that date is what the zip file has been updated with :)
Hope that makes sense!

Thanks anyway for the upload.

@NES - EverDrive N8 2021-03-23
seems to be a bunch of HTML headers instead of the actual .nes file.. otherwise a great NES Pack!
Subject: Yay!
Subject: Any updates?
Finally the files are available. All kudos to you! Thanks!
Subject: Missing stuff
I've noticed "Tokisora Senshi Turok (J) [!].z64" is missing from the N64 sets (According to file list missing from the latest one that I'm currently downloading (2021-04-01) and one I got from 2020-04-18.
Is this just a fluke?
I've also noticed some other differences that I just assume are corrections like "South Park (B).z64 (and 3 other (B) files) being removed from the Japan folder.
I was thinking of just deleting everything from my devices and replace them with these updated sets, but if stuff will be going missing in doing so I'm not so sure.
Cross-checking everything before updating would be a huge pain xD
And speaking of pain, like everyone else says, a better download option would be great.
Achive DL speeds are kind of limited.
Subject: The Best Available, And Always Getting Better
You want carefully-constructed 1G1R packs for every system, with just one version (the best version) of every game included?
They're here.
You want the most popular romhacks for each system?
They're here.
You want the most up-to-date sets for the latest ODE or flash cart or FPGA/emulator?
They're here.
You want every single version of every game, including tons of minor revisions and duplicates?
Look into other projects. That's extremely valuable, but that's not what this is about. This is about creating the most complete curated set for your average gamer who just wants to play the games.
(Also, ignore the troll and he'll eventually leave. He's been deleting his negative reviews and making a new one every week or so for months now, trying to get more replies. There's no need to clog the review section with angry posts feeding one child's ego)
Finally, please remember that the scripts, not the packs, are the core of the project. While it's wonderful that completed packs are sometimes uploaded for the public, the pack-building scripts will always be available on github so you can build your own packs from roms you find elsewhere (preferably legally but I won't judge)
This is what allows the project to be legal and to survive long-term.
If you'd like to help the project, or just want to see how these are made and how much work has gone in to them, please search for "Hardware Target Game Database" on github. You can see the entire history of the project, all their updates, and even contribute to the project or download the scripts so you can make your own packs without waiting for updates here.
Thanks again, uploader! And happy gaming!

Where do all idiots come from? Is there something in the water?
@Mike hunt... Then don't download this pack here, you retard. This is not meant to be a free serve for all. If you are too retarded to figure out how to get this, then don't bother. No one owes you shit. If you want it in another format, then create it. Now shutup and just be thankful there are people that gives you free shit. Fucking idiots.
I have downloaded every update to this package for the last couple of months with out issues. AGain, if you dont understand how it works, then go read a book or something.

@zakkky - please continue to showcase what a moron you are.. Geeeez.
---
@zakkky - seeing how you can't edit a comment, it explains so much and why it's so hard for you. :)

@zakkky - The only one who is a noob is you. If you can't figure out how to download this, then just be quiet, you tool.
Subject: Amazing packs for MiSTer
I have all the files, but i'd like to keep my local copy in sync with this from time to time using something like rclone (or similar). I have tried to configure it and I don't think i'm far off, but it isn't really working as desired. Would anyone be willing to share a fully working command or process to sync my local copy to this - or perhaps someone has another recommendation to achieve the same goal?
Couple of things regarding the pack (as of 05/21) - from what I can make out these files in the root directory are duplicates:
Darksoft CPS2 Full MAME Add-On 2020-05-24.7z
Darksoft CPS2 MAME Complete Add-On 2020-05-24.7z
The other thing I noticed is the MSX pack has been updated, there is a newer version here (which I have used):
https://archive.org/details/release-2021-01-31
There might have been another update since, but I haven't located it yet.
Thanks a lot for all the hard work.
Subject: Why is there no torrent ?
@zakkky well said this is a horrible way to get the new smokemonster packs and agree these games are over 30 years old not much really needs updating and would like to see a option of a torrent you could make update packs uploader is a bit of a noob tbf I had issues getting Dreamcast and PlayStation like you said

Subject: Slow/failing downloads
I have seen some people say Jdownloader but I don't have a suitable device to run that on (trying to download directly to a NAS which doesn't support Jdownloader).
Subject: Noticed some changes
The checksums in the htgdb-gamepacks_files.xml are wrong for "htgdb-gamepacks_meta.sqlite", "htgdb-gamepacks_reviews.xml", and "Panzer Dragoon - Widescreen + Borders Removed (EU) v1 paul_met.7z".
The 2020-09-10 rev of "@SNES - SD2SNES - Super Everdirve" contains 2.5G of "4 SPC Audio/" and "4 SPC Music Players/", but has been removed from this archive.

Subject: This might work for you?
Subject: Excellent collection!
For the record anyone with download problems should use Jdownloader 2 and if the download stops and says it can't connect for some reason I find that the force start download option in the app doesn't do anything but closing jdownloader and reopening it will immediately start downloading again. Bit of a quirky app but a million times better than using the Internet Archive options (torrenting for large files is broken as hell and leaves files out so never use this and the only other option is to download all files one by one and restart them when they crash which is often).
Subject: Many thanks for your efforts!
The 404s I noticed were as mentioned updates in progress on the archive.org servers.
The index page listed the old files yet, and the new replacements weren't visible. All is good now.
And yes, jDownloader is the only way to go with any files this large from archive.org.
Subject: Regarding zips and 7z
@_atrac17
There might be a misunderstanding here. I was always under the impression that the choice between zip and 7z in these packs was deliberate. Examples:
NES: uses plain roms so they come in one zip which can be copied straight to the Mister.
MSX: Uses hard drive images. I was told be several members of the community that you should not zip hard drive images for use on the Mister. Therefor using 7z guides the user to do the right thing - extract the files.
